Symmetry of Equations and Graphs

 

 

There are three types of symmetry:

1.      Symmetry with respect to the x-axis: Points are mirrored around the x-axis.

2.      Symmetry with respect to the y-axis: Points are mirrored around the y-axis.

3.      Symmetry with respect to the origin: Points are rotated around the origin.
